Shipping & Returns

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. When you place an order we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment destination. Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order, excluding applicable sales tax. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.

Standard Shipping (items weighing less than 80 lbs.)

RTJ Tool utilizes UPS and USPS to ship products anywhere in the United States. All items weighing less than 80 US lbs. will be shipped via UPS or USPS by the method selected at checkout.

Expedited Shipping (items weighing less than 80 lbs.)

Expedited shipments will ship once the entire order is complete in the event not all items on the order are in stock. If a prolonged wait is evident, RTJ Tool will notify the customer of the delay and advise the customer of available options.

Freight Shipping (items weighing greater than 80 lbs.)

All items weighing greater than 80 US lbs. will be shipped freight.

International Shipping (items weighing less than 80 lbs.)

All international shipments will be shipped via the customers shipping account. Free shipping DOES NOT apply to international shipments. Please enter all shipping account information in the customer notes box before completing the checkout process. RTJ Tool is not responsible for damage, delays or extra fees due to customs or other regulatory bodies.

Damaged Shipments 

Inspect all merchandise while the driver is present and make notes of visible damages and discrepancies. Contact your local UPS or truck shipments and file a report immediately. Keep all damaged goods in the original packaging for inspection. Do not discard any packing materials. Failure to take these actions might waive your claim. Notify us as we will be glad to assist you with your claim.

UPS Third Party Billing & UPS Collect Billing Accounts

RTJ Tool Company offers our customers the option to bill shipping charges to their UPS Collect Account. In the event a customer enters an invalid account number, we will be forced to charge the customer the original shipping amount they would have incurred PLUS a UPS Chargeback Fee of $20. Please be sure to enter the correct UPS billing account number to avoid additional fees.

PO Box Policy

RTJ Tool Company will ship to PO Boxes if desired. USPS is the only shipping carrier allowed to ship to PO Boxes, which may delay delivery depending on where the items originate from. For example: if an item purchased is to ship from the manufacturer's facility, RTJ Tool Company must first receive the item, then it will be processed and shipped to the customer's PO Box address. Please email us if you are concerned with PO Box delivery - we here to help you get your tools as soon as possible!

Multiple Shipment Policy

RTJ Tool Company will make every reasonable effort to ship orders as economically and efficiently as possible. We will always attempt to reduce the amount of individual shipments necessary to fulfill an order. However, there are times it is necessary or most economical to fulfill orders with multiple shipments. If a customer has checked out with standard shipping options available at checkout, the customer will NOT be charged any additional shipping costs. If a customer uses their UPS Account Number to bill shipping charges to, that account number will be used for all shipments.

Return Policy 

Returns and exchanges are accepted within the first 30 days after an order is received. We will credit the original form of payment less shipping charges. All merchandise must be returned in original condition with tags and packaging intact. We do not accept returns of used or opened merchandise nor can we credit shipping and handling charges. The customer is responsible for shipping charges to return any item. In the event of defective goods or a shipping error, we will absorb any additional shipping charges associated with the item. All returns must be authorized by email. To request a return, email sales@rtjtool.com. Please include in the email the products that will be returned, the original order number and the reason for the return.

 

RTJ Tool Company reserves the right to not accept returns for certain items at any time.
